Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 21, 2026
GetDebtRelief.net (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website getdebtrelief.net (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Who We Are
GetDebtRelief.net is a marketing and lead generation service. We are not a debt settlement company, lender, law firm, or credit counseling agency. Our Site helps consumers who are interested in debt relief connect with third-party debt relief providers (“Partners”) who may be able to assist them.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly
- Contact details: first and last name, email address, telephone number, state, and ZIP code.
- Financial questionnaire responses: approximate amount and types of unsecured debt, payment status, employment status, and monthly household income range.
- Communications you send us, including through our contact form.
- Your consent selections, including your TCPA consent to be contacted.
Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type and user agent, device information, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies and similar technologies used for analytics, site functionality, and advertising measurement.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To match you with, and transfer your inquiry to, one or more Partners who provide debt relief services in your state.
- To contact you (and to allow matched Partners to contact you) about your inquiry, consistent with the consent you provided.
- To document, store, and prove your consent to be contacted, including timestamp, IP address, and the exact consent language shown to you.
- To operate, improve, and secure the Site; to measure marketing performance; and to prevent fraud.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Service, and respond to lawful requests.
4. How We Share Your Information
With debt relief Partners. When you submit our form with your consent, we share your information with one or more Partners so they can contact you about debt relief products and services. Our Partners are independent companies, and we may receive compensation from them for a successful match. Once transferred, your information is also governed by the receiving Partner's own privacy policy.
With service providers. We use vendors for hosting, analytics, consent verification, and communications. They may process your information only to provide services to us.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your information to unrelated third parties for purposes unconnected to your debt relief inquiry.
5. Telephone & Text Communications (TCPA)
By checking the consent box on our form, you provide prior express written consent to be contacted by GetDebtRelief.net and your matched Partner(s) at the number you provided — including by autodialed calls, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, and SMS/text messages — even if your number is listed on a federal, state, or corporate Do Not Call registry. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may revoke your consent at any time by replying STOP to any text, telling any caller that you no longer wish to be contacted, or submitting a request on our Do Not Call page.
6. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, and others), you may have rights to:
- Know / access the personal information we have collected about you.
- Request deletion or correction of your personal information.
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via our contact page or email privacy@getdebtrelief.net. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. California residents may also use the Do Not Call / Do Not Sell page to opt out.
7. Cookies & Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Site working, remember your progress in the form, analyze traffic, and measure advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect Site functionality.
8. Data Retention & Security
We retain lead and consent records for at least five (5) years as required by the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule, and other information for as long as needed for the purposes described above. We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
9. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
